What is a Blog?

The word BLOG is short for "web-log". It is very often described as an online diary that can be created by anyone on any topic and read by all. This is how it use to be but is no longer. BLOGGERS have become very creative in how and what they share in blogs. Blogs have created an opportunity for individuals to collaborate anytime and from anywhere. The ability to post comments has opened the door to global communication. Many educators have begun modifying the structure of blogs to embrace their instructional endeavors. Blogs have also helped open the lines of communication.
